Here's a custom codec pack (no installer, just the codecs with an inf-install method!) :)
Supported media: DivX, XviD, DVD (VOB), MPEG (VCD/SVCD), Subtitles, AC3, MP3, WMV, MKV, H.264
For installation tips see the included 'README.TXT'!

This codec pack comes without any media player (hence I recommend the latest Zoom Player 6.0!)
and contains just the codecs, I considered to be most useful/compatible:

(This codec pack may have issues with Windows Vista.)

custom codecpack, since the install routine of the k-lite-codecpack

he said the INSTALLER of the k-lite-codecpack did not worked like he would be so he created a cmd file to register all the file that came with the k-lite-codecpack manualy.

SO, WHAT PART I DID NOT UNDERSTAND????
Its simple no

you posted the link to the installer.....

his made a cmd/reg file with components of. He isn't using THAT file you posted. He isn't using the actual install program, but rather a cmd file most likely to register the ax files and apply registry entries....

and yes...i do need sleep

Precisely ... I'm interested in the batch file itself. The codecs I can find, I just want to use all the registry tracking that someone else has gone through. I hate installers ... don't trust 'em ...

to bring in another bit - is it possible to select what KLite installs?
I don't wanna have BSplayer as example...

maybe a little offtopic - but probably solves his prob with KLite...

yes
I believe it was discuseed in app switchs cause my klite codec doesn't install bs player and some codecs that I chosed.

trying to find...
found:
Based on K-Lite Codec Pack 2.06 full

installername /verysilent [/DIR="x:\dirname"] [/GROUP="folder name"] [/NOICONS] /COMPONENTS=& quot;bsplayer,divx,divxdec,divxmpeg4,xvid,xviddec,3ivx,wmv,dvd,nompeg2,mpeg2ligos,mpeg2ele
card,indeo,indeo4,indeo32,i263,msmpeg4,huffyuv,mp3audio,wmaaudio,ac3audio,oggvorbis,musepa
ck,vsfilter,oggvorbissplitter,matroska,matrixmixer,divxaf,mmswitch,fourcc,gspot,disg400,di
sffdshow"

The commands between brackets are optional.

You can edit the components parameter to install only certain components. Now it includes ALL of them, so edit it first!

What you need:
