It's the little things like equality in cpl's that make me enjoy it all so much more
Look forward to trying v2.2 out when I get home.
Maybe AAC codec of some sort would be nice. At the moment if default install of XP ,WMP10,MPC and v2.X codecs and I try to open an m4a file then I'm up for installing more to get it to play.
At the moment for me windows uses nero acc codec to play m4a after I do a fresh UA.
Be nice to know that if I didn't install nero that m4a would play a fresh install.
Cheers.
DESCNAME = "Codec Pack 2.1 (remove only)"

Thank You for the updated cab kel , think the 1st post should be edited to

added: - CPL applet for XviD configuration (suggested by smashly)Actually there should be no credit to me at all as I didn't make the xvid cpl.
I leave the cpl making upto the people like you who have it to a fine art
Cheers
EDIT: after investigation with notepad the XviD cpl was made with "Control Panel Applet Generator" from Maintools Software. v2.0 is $19.90 , haven't tried it yet but I intend to:)

I did make a 7z sfx but since i've added other codecs/files like Vfapi (my old habits for frame serving) , FFDS/VFW+cpls (for for playback of AVC and AAC formats) also added MiniCalc, FourCC Changer. Most ppl wanted swgreed codec pack uncluttered as posible , so I decided against posting what I put together.
Cheers.

I was really fedup with those DivX guys, coz with every little update we have to download a whole 16-17 mb play/create bundle, which is really annoying.
Thanks again & keep up the good work :-)

These most likely are install errors on my part but after installing your codec pack, I can't find the file
"Mpg4c32.dll" listed in codecs.inf as multiple registry entries. If this is installed by another program,
maybe you could tell which one it is. I have WMP10 installed.
Also, * VobSub [1.0.1.3] + CPL, does you codec pack include the program to go with the control
panel file, "DirectVobSub.cpl" ? Has to be an install error on my part if you included it with your pack.
Thanks in advance.

If I want to install only few selected codecs, is it possible? eg. If I want to install only divx decoder with all it's related files, how can I do that?
Thanks,
-Avish.

- the Mpg4c32.dll entries are obsolete and will be removed on the next release (I overlooked them somehow)
- copy the DirectVobSub.cpl to your "system32" folder, if you want to access vobsub via "control panel"
(also make sure VSFilter.dll is registered)

you can edit the inf-file and remove all components you don't want to install
(thats why the inf-file is commented
