well i have two questions actually first being , i did a system restore on my computer and now my product keys dont work for any of my programs such as word....etc and secondly im tryinf to open a zip folder and it wont work at all i never had these problems on xp

Download Winrar, that can open zip programs, give it a try. I'm not really sure about the product key thing, what "products" are you trying to use?

yeah you can use Winrar to unzip programs and you can find your product key by the following process...

If you have Remote Admin on that particular machine, look in:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion

There you should find several keys giving product info; ProductID,

ProductKey, ProductName, etc.

OR

You can find the Product key with any of these:
