Is there a way to change the font attributes of the text on this screen and ones alike?

I have been looking for ages in the hope to find a way but can not find a thing. Hope someone can help.

Thanks

Yes!

You can use Restorator 2007 and Select Open All files (*).

Example with my French version Windows 7 Ultimate x86:

With DISM.exe

1) Mount boot.wim 2

With Restorator Open the file => C:\Mount\sources\fr-FR\w32uires.dll.mui

Unmount /Commit

2) Mount install.wim (index:4 for Ultimate x64 and index:5 for Ultimate x86)

Open the file => C:\Mount\System32\oobe\fr-FR\W32UIRes.dll.mui

Unmount/Commit

3) Inside => C:\Win7\sources\fr-fr\w32uires.dll.mui

4) Inside => C:\Win7\sources\w32uires.dll.mui

You can changes the dialog inside the boxes: example => Dialog 112 and String 323

Not sure I have explained well enough. I want to change the font so that it is different when installing windows on the setup screen. What you just told me is for the program only

It seems you don't see the image correctly. The new text for the installation is (Garamond 14 Italic):

Installation de Windows 7 Edition Intégrale Se7en Titan...

And not: Installing Windows...

The Font isn't the same

Cheers

*Edit: For the setup script

About the progress bar: I think it's Dialog 146

And the text:

1 Collecting information 2 Installing Windows

See inside String => 323 | 326 | 327 | 328

Installing Windows

I've made some search about your question, but I've not found a satisfactory answer !

change text Progress

You can modify the text inside the dialog box and make some changes inside the String but only the text!

Resource Tuner

Extract:

String IDs cannot be edited. These values are hard coded into the target file. Changing them is likely to cause the modified program to crash.

Installing Windows

*Edit:

You can also find some help inside this tutorials:

Hello Forum,

Before creating a new topic, would like to address my issue here.

My problem has to do with the way win7 install fonts.

I use lots of fonts; I got some packs and want to install them. I did, unfortunately seems that at least one of them is making a bit of trouble.

Would like to UNinstall the one (s) that don’t want, i go under windows/fonts, as I normally do to install (by coping) but there is seems to be NONE.

Obviously that is not the case; on this folder are some 24K fonts.... I need many, maybe not that many... :P

How do I do, to delete or reinstall fonts from scratch on? W/O reinstalling Windows?

PS: tried to use total commander to get to windows/fonts, but the folder doesn’t seem to exist.

Have you got any clues what could i do to have it fixed?

Thanks in advance

Luis

Not sure about the progress bar but the check mark can be changed in W32UIIMG.dll; Bitmap 287.
