mmmmm. I have a feeling it's Alanoll the lone plugin developer.
And I assume you're proficient enough to be able to make changes to the plugins when I put a new SDK out, so I may as well release it.

It was clear in the beginning. I just totally forgot about it in 1.00 :)

*makes change now*

Is that change implemented?

Or better yet, have the option in the config of the XML to enable/disable the subitem count...

@Wraith: I don't consider myself a hard-core coder, I know VB, C and server scripting (asp, php), so I don't know if something like the XML coder could be implemented thru a plugin. I haven't had enough time to try out .NET so I guess I'll try it this weekend. Could you point me to a good tutorial or sample code?

Yes, it will. It has. Just not in the current version.
I may release a 1.01 beta soon.

did wraith implement that in 1.00?

I didn't see a changelog, so i don't really know what was fixed, added, changed :)

:offtopic:
@Alanoll: give the man a break! ... He has already done more than most programmers I know. He even posted the complete docs for the current release, and that's more than excellent in my book!

That feature is not implemented in ver1.00 (when I last tested)

The item count is actually hardcoded into the display routines, so if it needed to be changed, it's have to be changed in the control's source code.

In XPlode.

But it's been changed, and it will be in the next version. The option to turn it on or off is a good idea, I'll add that in a moment.

EDIT:
Okay, done. A subcount='true' attribute added to <show>.

sorry sorry sorry

Wraith, you're doing an excellent job

I'll get to deciphering the SDK in a bit. Then try and come up with an idea to implement something :)

Nice Work Wraith!!! :)

I was just wondering if anythought has been given to multi-CD support for XPlode.

Otherwise keep up the good work.

It was low on my list of priorities. Theoretically, now with this plugin support, I could make a plugin that does it in very little time.

There's a few things I want to do first, but I'll look into it.
It really isn't that much of a problem to do now. I think. We'll see.

Does that mean I must re-download 1.00, or is that in 1.01?

oooooh GOODDDY!!! 1.01 :)

Wraith, I was just wondering if you were gonna post source for the plugins you've made? I believe at some point you said you would, but if not...oh well

To be honest, I'd rather not :)

It'd mean I'd have to go through and clean up half of them...

The Directory and File ops ones are out of the question as well, so it'd be the execute, adduser, and registry.

None of which I want to clean up. Heh.

I'll start a new thread for plugin development and pin it. If the code you're after is able to be posted I will.

I dont know if this is possible, but maybe an attribute that tells XPlode to wait for a certain program to unload. for example
waitfor='_ISDel.exe'

If you see my problem with photoshop would explain its usefulness. It closes the setup.exe so XPlode moves on to the next item on the list. the program that is doing the actual installing is _ISDel.exe

Just a thought.

I've a suggestion :D
How about making a small app that will enter the paths and switches automatically to the xml file for lazy ppl like me

[lazy on]
enter the number of hotfixes/programs to be installed: 1;
install path for the hotfix: ________________ switch to be used:________________
[/lazy off]

:D :)
