Hello!

I am a non-tech person who has been saddled with solving a problem here at work. Our last IT person used your software to create a 'standardized' installation for our computers.

One of the things he did was add text that shows up on the desktop to the tune of 'microsoft xp service pack 3' and the name of our company. Our boss wants this text removed because of a recent change to our company name. If you change the desktop background, it remains there, no matter what. I was told there is a setting somewhere to get rid of that text but I don't know where to begin

I am sorry for posting here if it's the 'wrong' place, but I have no IT knowledge and have no idea what I'm doing.

Any help would be appreciated. We have XP Pro, service pack 3 if that helps

Thanks,

GO

I deleted your crosspost.

Also it was in the nLite forum. Hope you know you can't use nLite for business use.

Something like these:
http://www.msfn.org/...ion-to-desktop/
has been installed on that PC.

Cannot say more, up to you to find which program it is.
