Hi

I just installed windows 7 x64 enterprise on this laptop. I know have 2 devices that did not install.

1.SM Bus controller.

2. Unknown device.

I tried every driver on the Dell site listed for my model of laptop.

Would someone give me a hand to figure this out?

We've helped you out with drivers before, so try to remember this next time you ask for help with them.

You need to post the HwID of each of these devices. Those terms you see in Device Manager are too generic for us to guess, especially since no one else here might end up having the same notebook you have. You can find the HwID on the Details tab of the device properties.

I figured it out. I had to try a bunch of chipset drivers from Dell until I found the right one.
