so the wonderful LHR airport has a traffic control problem.. and I'm stuck in london... (I fly thru london each time i go back and from college)

and the best part about it.. I can't leave till sunday... ooo.. the fun!!!

anyhow, while walking near mable arch (near oxford st) I see tons of arab restaraunts...

I never knew there was such a demand for it...

is it the same around UK? or just mainly london?

people in america call what we in the uk call Asians "Arabs". i understand why its confusing because in the uk we dont call oriental Asians "Asian"

anyway, yep there are "arab" resteraunts and takeaways all over the uk, infact theres so much demand for curry its our national dish, wierd huh?

and last night i went to meenas and had a Saag gosht with keema naan. :)

they are Indian anyway not Arab, although most of the resteraunts are run by arabs from Pakistan or saudi arabia. The best food is from resteraunts run by Indians, you can tell the difference, much nicer food IMO.

na I know the difference ;-)

So ya, there are tons of Arab places here... (mainly lebanese) They even have sheesha (that thing that looks like a hookah, water pipe, etc...)

I was just amazed...

Anyhow I should be going to sleep soon... hopefully there should be no more delays and I can resume my journey back..grr!!!!

oh a side note, selfridges is having a "boollywood" month... ie (tons of indian stuff)

man... there is so much diversity here it's crazy...

whereas in the states we always claim to have diversity.. but all we really have is a bunch of asians and south ameriacans..

u guys have soo many poeple .. asians/arabs/etc..

oh well enough rambling.....
