ElectricalStorm
Hi,As a network administrator I often shutdown all my network computers remotely with a command like this “shutdown /r /m \\computername /t 5”.Now, when an computer has done some updates I want to send him a similar command like the user has chosen the “Install updates and shutdown” option.Does anyone know this command line? Thanks,Chris
Tripredacus
You should be able to do this with PowerShell, but you'll obviously need to have that installed on all the clients. I found a script that looks like it will do pendinging updates from WSUS and then you can reboot/shutdown. I have no experience with PowerShell but if you want to go down this path this topic can be moved to the scripting forum. Here is that link:http://poshcode.org/1932
