Well i got an email as im with Telstra Bigpond dialup and got a message that they have ADSL and CABLE specials.. as the australian market is still pretty expensive, i found a decent deal.. Unlimited 256/64kb for $49.95 a month.. ppl may think thats expensive in many other countries, but its cheap for aussies.. as theres lack of competition and telstra more or less run the whole phone industry here.. Heh, must suck to be an Aussie. Why are they so tight on bandwidth? I've heard of ISPs doing ridiculous download limits of 4gb per month on a broadband connection. (When most people on dial-up could easily hit over 10gb a month)

as theres only one maybe two telephone carriers.. telstra has 70% +.. hense monolopizing the market and making us pay more.. its unbelieveable.. i know someone in canada that has unlimited 1.5mg for $45 AU :|
