Frogman, I've made some tests and looks like that Flash 10.0.45.2 is latest version which work with IE 6.0 (Win98/ME of course).

I managed to get the flash to work again on I.E6, and I think I managed it by installing Flash 9 first, then when I tried to install 10 I really can't remember what happened at that point, but all I know is when I re-booted and checked the version test it says I have version 10,3,183,10 installed. It works and it shows I have version 11 for Firefox.
Windows 98 S.E - Opera 12.02 - Firefox 3.6.28 - Kernel-Ex 4.5.2 - Internet Explorer 6

NGView 2.0 (using kernel ex 4.5.1)

http://www.szamado.h...ew/index_en.htm

*Note* You have to register the program (it's free) and then inquire about updates. The author is nice enough that he'll offer the newest version 2.0 for free, even though it's not available yet for download.

The PDF XChangeViewer latest build 2.5.201.0 works again. Tested: exe installer and portable version. The builds 198, 199 and 200 don't open pdf files on Win 98/ME. Wiki

System: Win ME, KernelEX 4.5.2, RP 9.72

Installed portable firefox 9.0.1 and hyperbk bookmarks add on a usb stick on windows 98 with kernelex 4.5.2 and pentium III processor
with 512 mb. I could import all my bookmarks from Firefox 3.6.25 which I upgraded to 3.6.26. The letters on the toolbars of firefox 9.0.1
are very small though. Is there someone who has a solution for this ?

I've tested it shortly but look like that VLC 2.0.0 RC1 working smoothly on Win 98SE with KeX 4.5.2 (installer version).

Btw, I can confirm that latest build of PDF XChangeViewer is indeed usable (both versions: installer and portable).

Installed the portable version of Firefox 10. It looks the same as 9.01. Has the same problem with the bookmarks. Firefox 3.6.26 is still much fa much faster and more stable.

To run Palemoon 9.1: Replace after installation (comp. mode XP) the MS Visual C++ 2010 files  (MSVCR100 and MSVCP100) in the palemoon prgram folder.

It runs fine here even in default compat mode. SSE2 CPU required though (SSE only for version 3.6).

Did you try to change the font size?: Display Properties - Appearance - Font Size

FF 10 seems to be not as stable as 9.0.1.

Possibly you mean the font size of windows 98. But this is all right for me. When I look at the tool bar of Firefox 3.6.26 or Firefox 9.0.1 there
a big difference in font size. At least on windows 98. The tool bar itself is also smaller. I searched with Google and found that there is a way
to change the size of the tool bar. But how does this work for the portable version of Firefox and how can this be done from within Firefox.
