Hi,

Does anyone know of an application or ease script that can edit a specified ini file and save the ini and copy/overwrite to an specifed location

For example i have an ini like below named parm.ini

[Client]
_present=1
CanQuit=0
CheckDefaultDesktop=1
DisconnectHotkey=0
Logging=0
Protocols=2
Shared=1
ShowToWindow=0
SwitchDesktop=1
Usernames=*

[Bridge]
LoadOnStartup=0
Protocol=0

It will go to each specifed Section and specifed setting ( or all sections.sections) and ask you to set a specific setting

I hope someone has a tip :)

Regards,
TheDon

I can think you could easily make one in AutoIT. I looked at their example scripts and couldn't find one to do exactly what you wanted.

Yes an autoit script would easily generate or update this kind of .ini.

You might also consider some commandline tool which might help you (I did not try them though)

IniFile 1.6

ini Tool v1.20
