Im building a forefront tmg edge firewall before i install forefront i need to share the internet connection my network consists of one NIC for lan access connected to a switch and another for internet access (external) connected directly to a modem .

ive tried pppoe with nat which works but its not supported by tmg apparently (ive tried using the network rules tab to create a dial up connection and apply nat but all internet traffic gives ttl expired in transit)

So now im stumped ive tried disabling bridge mode on the router setting up the ip/ default gateway which gives the server internet access and using nat (private on the lan public on the wan) but again no internet access or name resolution

Can anyone suggest what to try next or guides because Googles turning up nothing useful.

For a proprietary firewall you'll have better luck with the vendor's support and support forums.
