if I have a component not wanted, & I know its INF file, what should I do to be able to delete it from the Installation CD?

You have to copy "*.inf" and extract every "*.in_" to some dir.
Then do the text search in them to see which one of your inf's is needed and what inf entry.
For example if there is "yourfile.inf, defaultinstall" in some of the files
you need to leave that entry in your inf.
(for example if it is "defaultinstall")
You can see in that inf which files can be deleted.
Then do the text search in them to see which one of your inf's is needed and what inf entry.
For example if there is "yourfile.inf, defaultinstall" in some of the files
you need to leave that entry in your inf.
(for example if it is "defaultinstall")
[version] signature="$WINDOWS NT$" LayoutFile=layout.inf [defaultinstall] (delete everithing below that line)
You can see in that inf which files can be deleted.

I don't wan't to be rude but all you need to do is edit those files on jdeboeck's site(it has games.inf)

well extract those in_'s to inf first as said
and go to search in xp and on the "A Word or phrase in the file" put whatever u wanna remove. i'm sure this method works if u don't want to use jdeboeck's. Though I highly recommend his batches
if u want to leave certain games u need to modify the games.inf and the batches as well.. good luck
aw also nothing important but I got used to see Reducing the CD size for gosh's method. this one tricked me

I would like to use his batches but I'm getting an error during installation...
beside I would like to create something more user friendly (choose want to drop & what to leave)
