Ok hi guys i need help..!!!!I build a computer with A7V8X-X and a barton 2500+ but i CANT install Windows XP or other!!i change my hard drive my video card my windows cd...my ram...but i still get a errror after the dos installtion...!!!like
c000021 error registry
OR
c:\Windows\System\Config\System MISSING OR CORRUPT !!!
The only thing i didtn check is the Barton 2500 PROCCESSOR !!but i dont think the procceseur have a association with the windows installation

Sounds like the files are being corrupted as they are written to the disk. You said you changed your RAM and hard disk so that should eliminate those as a possible cause. Here are a few more things you can check:
Is the hard disk properly partitioned and formatted?
Have you checked to make sure the IDE cable is not bad?
Does your disk controller require special drivers during setup?
Are you overclocking any of your components?
Could your CD-ROM drive be defective?
Your motherboard might have faulty components.
How are you launching Windows setup? When you say "after the dos installation" do you mean you are running setup from MS-DOS? If so try booting directly from your Windows XP CD-ROM and let it run setup that way instead.
