davesch
Just started using nlite, and it was all going well till I got to the bit about adding windows updates / hotfixesI assumed I would just point nlite to my windows directory and it would automatically add all installed updatesIt seems, unless I have this wrong that I need to search and download each update manually from the microsoft site, even though they are already installed - I have over a hundred of them installed !Have I mis-understood this ? I hope I have.RegardsDave.
Guest
You have not misunderstood. But you're in luck. MSFN member -X- maintains a list of all current high priority updates necessary to bring Windows XP up to date. Update packs are also available to further simplify the process if you're so inclined. Ponch
I assumed I would just point nlite to my windows directory and it would automatically add all installed updatesThe OS you are modifying and the OS you are running have theoretically no relation at all. You could create an afghan XP64bit sp2 install disc running a danish Windows 2000 sp4.
