Hi, I am new to making unattended windows installs, though I have succeeded (mostly) in making an unattended windows XP install disk. Is there a way to have unattended setup place files or folders on to the desktop? I am interested in having something like the Open office install file appear right on the desktop or a sub folder at first startup so I can just click on it to install, is this possible? I am using nLite. This is for Windows XP. Thanks

Sure. Just create the following folder structure alongside i386 and place your files in there.
$OEM$\$Docs\All Users\Desktop
Select Unattended in the Task Selection screen of nLite then in image #15 @ http://xdot.tk/nliteimages.html select OEM Preinstall to enabled along with all the other unattended settings.
