Sharepoint 2010

3 posts in this topic

Hi

I have installed Sharepoint 2010 on my server because I wanted to trial it as a possible replacement for our crap VLE.

anyway one thing I have noticed is that the pages are very slow to load... too slow .

the Server has about 12Gig of RAM and a half decent processor... and nobody is using sharepoint because I'm the only one who knows its installed.

the server does function as a TS remoteapp server.. but that's not really heavily used though.

I heard something about a warm up script in IIS.. but didn't think that was the same problem as what I'm seeing.

any ideas anyone?

Is it slow locally or just on the clients?
