When doing slipstreaming with the /integrate switch these changes are not added to the system source AT ALL. It's only files that get updated.
I've done some tests with Win2k's SP4 where I (for example) removed everything from [Product.Add.Reg] section and did /integrate after that. The result was exactly the same as with the original unmodified SP4. It would mean that these registry changes are not added at all. Is it right?
If it is then it'd mean that slipstreaming is inferior to installing the SP in a running system...
To be sure I compared the two sources (after doing slipstreaming) using KDiff3 and also compared md5's - no difference at all.
