Fredledingue
I'll keep the list updated on the top of the trhead.Let's hope that there will be more entries because 3 out of 7 are applications, not realy system updates. But it's a good start! _______________________________ Edited February 26, 2012 by Fredledingue

go98
I did a lot of photo editing with mspaint (win 98) about 10 years ago. I noticed that when I did rezising of photos in xp, the quality was not as good as with win 98 (mostly shrinking 50%). So I made sure to never use xp mspaint for this.Maybe xp mspaint is better in some other ways, but I prefer win 98 mspaint because of this "discovery"... Fredledingue
Maybe it's simply due to the JPG compression level the of the new image which is different in w98 and XP?
go98
Maybe it's simply due to the JPG compression level the of the new image which is different in w98 and XP?Nope, I always did this on bitmap-format (.bmp).
M()zart
As I know, Windows 98 mspaint saves only BMP, not JPG.
Joseph_sw
but theres filters for win9x mspaint to allow it saving as .jpgthats probably included during office installation.
