This topic seems to be getting very heated  .
cool it u guys!
come on we should also accept that we've been corrupt some or the other time in our lives!

suggest more ways to stop corruption than just fretting about the present condition.

I don't think you p____d anyone off. Outside of military coups (sp?), I think the corruption of government actually starts at our level. If nobody backs someone who is corrupt, then they are out. But when we vote for or back someone who we might get some personal gain from rather than a person who would work toward 'the common good' then there is the beginning of corruption.

In our last presidential election here in the US, we had two major contenders. One I'm not sure what his agenda is and the other that would say anything for attention or a vote. This is just my opinion and only my opinion. I went through the election with disgust, insecurity and fear. I'm hoping the general population will pull the country through, which I think the country has done most of the time. We've had some leaders who were in the right place at the right time. I have been somewhat fortunate in my life and had the opportunity to do some travelling. Most of the people I have met have been culturally different than me, but we also had a lot in common. Wanting peace, freedom and friendship, in one form or another. We just have to look at what we back and where it ends up putting us.

corruption probably isn't the biggets issue in Norway. Too many departments seein into each others stuff, and goverment accounting department has got enormous power. Plus (probably the most important) there is no culture for fraud and corruption. If you get a lot of money, people start asking questions, cuz there are so few billionaires (even thoug it is a quite welty SOCIETY)!

I think the USA is the most corrupt country in the world. Complete bully boys of the world with an imbecile for a president running the country.
You have to laugh -

Corruption is everywhere..

But, its prominent only in at the higher-levels in other countries...

In India, Bureaocracy and Red-Tapism are the "primary" goals at the government offices.

Corruption is pretty high here in the us but it's not as bad as other countries. Corruption is not easily avoidable.
