Hallo. I recently bought a Huawei E122 modile broadband modem to connect to the internet from windows xp. But i want to install it to windows 98 to connect to the internet from there too. Is there any way to install it? Or can I connect throw windows xp from windows 98(I mean: windows xp connected to the internet throw the huawei modem and windows 98 connected to windows xp machine but windows 98 has internet too) windows 98 and windows xp are in diferent machines. Is any of these possible? I prefer the installation of the modem. If it's possible. Please help.

Yes, I believe that should be possible (haven't done it myself, so I can't give you details).

BTW, assuming your modem is UMTS/WCDMA and based on Qualcomm, AFAIK, there are no W9X drivers available. There may be W9X drivers for Qualcomm CDMA chipsets, but adapting these to the UMTS/WCDMA chipsets is probably not feasible.

Joe.
