Hi, l tried to install windows 98se in my old computer and discovered about rp9 which enables 32-bit icons on win98. But it doesn't support 32-bit cursor or animated cursor. Whenever i try to change the mouse cursor it doesn't change as it is, i mean the alpha channel is missing... I hope there's a solution for this. Thanks in advance

Maybe this forum cannot answer your question or maybe your thread is not important as the others that's why maybe there is no response in this thread. Better found another site.

Tihiy never mentioned support for 32-bit cursors in RP9, so attempting to use 32-bit cursors will not make it work. Until such a feature is implemented, there is no known way around it.

It is not possible at this stage include 32bit cursors, particularly as designed user32.exe/dll fu is designed as the same paragraph of explorer.exe
However the icons are not controlled by Explorer and thus achieving Tiny them according to 32bits I have understood

I think I read your post correctly.
I am not sure if it is relevant to (what I perceive to be) your problem, but I found information from this site.

ANIMATED CURSORS
"If Windows 98 is not using 32-bit disk access, cursors are not animated. To determine if you are using 32-bit disk access, click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then double-click System. In the System Properties dialog box, click Performance."

I think he's just asking if one can display 32bits cursors (24bits truecolor + alpha channel) on Win9x. When he tries, alpha channel is missing.
Foxbat answered the question : the Revolution Pack helps displaying 32bits colors icons but it does not provides cursors enhencements.
