this win2k without bwc update

I used XP kernel32.dll with new name kernel2.dll

I have removed a letter from every function name in order the checksum will be not removed, so the operation was completed successfully but the error has not changed

WinWord2000 Grazie a tutti !

Download fcwin2k, extract it, open fcwin2k.exe, drag PickMeAp#.exe to fcwin2k, select Windows XP from OS Ver, check Executable, then click Rewrite.

Can you please put pictures of steps of your work?

WinWord2000 Grazie a tutti !

Do you mean patching PickMeApp with ImportPatcher, or rewriting PickMeApp with fcwin2k (so that "is not a vaild Win32 application" error disappears)?

with twice ImportPatcher and then fcwin2k

So, why not put the required faultrep.dll then?

Are the names of the functions that you have chosen approved or just a choice, because they do not resemble the names of the missing functions.
With the addition of faultrep.dll  and XP compatibility this error appear

i don't use any vanilla update

Can you please compress the modded program (pickMeApp)  and upload it here to try it on my system with out any update?

I am just trying all the ways to patch PickMeApp, so it's the latter: just a choice.

Sorry, I forgot to say that, after I patched PickMeApp, and then ran it, it crashed with "has generated errors and will be closed by Windows" error.

arget NT4 should be selected. This might be all that is needed.

but how to add missing function in ntdll.dll with ImportPatcher

ImportPatcher only redirects DLL and API references by patching text in the import tables. Other tools such as fwd are needed to add code.

Thank you jumper

I'll see how fwd work .

WinWord2000 Grazie a tutti !
