Im stuck on a few things, that Google just cant answer, can someone assist?
Please remember all and any help or insight is greatly appreciated:

:)
-1-
How do I fix the fact that in Device Manager, there's a big yellow question mark under Other Devices, Ethernet Controller?

-2-
I've downloaded and installed from Morpheus1, his 4.09 audio drivers with 4.08 control panel. How can i (a) "officially" determine what Audio Driver is being used? And what was previously being used?

-3-
After I press the "Power" button, it takes approx. 2min to get to the "Login Screen".

I have "Enabled" Full Screen Logo, in the Bios, because I dont want to see at what stage during the startup the system is, but after that I have to see a sort of Bios screen, where besides a list of my hdd, cdrw, and dvd the following is displayed:
"Verifying DMI pool Data.."

Then, it takes about a minute before the next screen "The Windows Boot Screen" loads, and that little side scrolling blue thing sort of hiccups, then the screen goes black for a good 30seconds, and im taken to the Login Screen (btw, what resolution is that?)

How do I (a) shorten the load time and get to the Windows LogIn Screen faster? And [b] hide or disable the "Verifying DMI Pool Data.." screen?

-4-
Is there an app out there that will enable me to cycle different "LogIn Screens" per startup?

-5-
How do I verify that my USB ports are 2.0 compliant?

-6-
What is an optimal amount of time do you specify before your ScreenSaver kicks in?

-7-
Does anyone have any idea if there's a problem running an older version of Mame vs. newer Roms, or vice versa?

-8-
When people talk about "Stress Test" or "Burning In", are they referring to 1 application that accomplishes this or is it a suite and if possible can you provide a link?

-9-
How do I know is the difference between SW-IDE and IDE Drivers? And where do I get them from, or are they part of the Unified Driver package 3.13 ive installed?

1. The yellow exclamation mark next to a device within the device manager means that that device is not working properly or hasn't been installed.
[list]
[*]You need to pay some attention to this device and try to get it working properly if it's not working properly
[*]Windows has detected the device and you haven't installed the drivers for it. So, Install them!
[\list]

2. Access the device manager and select the 'properties' of the sound card. Navigate to the 'driver' tab. This tab should give you some idea of the driver version and date. Also click 'driver details' to get specific driver file information.

3. If you have enabled fullscreen logo, I think that is the best you can do. Most custom built PC's do not have the logo display constantly (Like DELL or Gateway) before Windows takes over. I'm guessing this is an option within the BIOS that would need to be edited by the manufacturer or yourself if you could get your hands on the BIOS editor.

Shorten the load time by downloading Microsoft's Bootvis utility. Google it!

4. I'm not sure I understand what you mean.

5. Do the same thing under the device manager and look at the USB properties. or just plug-in a USB 2.0 device and see if it says "High-speed device plugged into a non-high speed hub". If it does, your PC has USB1... if not, it's 2.0 compliant.

6. I don't use a screensaver anymore. Monitors have advanced to the point where they have more resistant hardware to burn-ins and they usually go to sleep before any minute risk of burn-in. Also, Screensavers have been proven to reduce the life of a monitor because of the constant action. But a 1-5 minute timer would be fine...

7. No idea...

8. SiSoft's Sandra will benchmark and stress test your machine. Google it!

9. They are part of Nvidia's 3.13 UDA. You do mean Nvidia... right?

Next time, do NOT post so many questions in one post :-)
