Depends on what media. This is the last movie that I got myself (for Christmas)

Here's my last specific movie purchase (one I had to go to the work to find) before the one above. Definitely underrated and endured after all this time.

Picked up Falling Down a few months ago. Definitely a classic. :)

And the one before Falling Down. Definitely worth seeing at least once. I pull it out every once in a while.

Of course here's the famous scene parodied time and again (though there are others referenced as well):

Falling Down is great beyond measure!
Dr. Strangelove is great, too.
And Memento, just to mention one that wasn't yet mentioned.
If you've not seen it, go for it. It sure is worth the trouble.

Memento is good. Francis and Trinity put in great performances right after completing their first Matrix movie.

Reminds me of The Salton Sea—a similarly motivated widower with some different obstacles.

Despite what the trailer shows, it is definitely not a comedy.

I've got Memento on my list. I'm a big movie collector and what at least 3-4 a week. I did watch Falling Down recently, although my last one was Panic Room.

Francis, BTW is Cypher in Matrix, of course!

Have you seen "Streets of Fire" ? If not, do add it to you list too. It's one of my all time favorites.
I do love "Kiil Bill (part 1)" too, but I do feel part 2 didn't quite live up to the standars set by part one...

I watched Flipped a few days ago. What a lovely film! Both Juli and Bryce are so cute. I laughed a lot with Bryce's funny thought about the school auction.

There's a trailer here:
