Hi guy's, I did a new install before crimbo and it's requiring activation. (my original disk is not corp)
I disabled the OBE so that's not possible.... as well as IE, WMP & messenger etc
If I enable OBE without IE will it still work?.... or do I need IE as well?

You needed to keep OOBE, the component (it says so with a red warning). "Disable OOBE" in Unattended section is only preventing it from running at start, that doesn't make no difference. Neither does IE. Still removing IE core will probably get you trouble later.

I leave IE Core in all my installs but haven't had IE for years now.
