Screen Resolution and DPI? Rate Topic: -----

Is there a difference if I get a high resolution screen and make the DPI higher (in Windows 7), and if I get a low resolution screen and use regular DPI?

The reason I'm asking is because I need a monitor with big (easy on the eye) content, and almost all good new monitors are Full HD nowadays.

You could still get a 32" TV with a 1366*768 resolution; not all programs like a larger font.

Why would you need a larger screen?
