I used Vlite to install Vista Ultimate on my system, I keep have major problems with itunes. My Nano and Shuffles won't be recognized I have removed and re installed itunes in the order per Apple. The funny thing is I connect devices to XP or 7 and no issues... On this system I get driver error.

I am wondering if it's vlite install since I had to mod the reg to get SP2 to install. I am about to purchase 7 but not sure my issue would go away.

vLite can be the cause of issues if you removed too much. Look in the Last session.ini if you removed hardware drivers which are needed to recognize USB devices.
