Hello.
I've got Seagate 7200.12, 500Gb, now it isn't shown in BIOS.
Read a lot about CC, very similar symptoms. In Victoria and so on.
But. In terminal and Putty (without any isolation or connecting read-write) it shows:

RST 0x10M
RW: Disk Ctlr Initialization Completed
(P) SATA Reset

No messages with CC. It reacts on CTRL+Z, spins well, does /U, /Z (runs and stops when commanding), clears Smart /N1 without errors, does V1 and V4.
But after doing m0,2,2,,,,,22 it shows sth like this:

Max Wr Retries = 00, Max Rd Retries = 00, Max ECC T-Level = 14, Max Certify Rewrite Retries = not supported
User Partition Format Successful - Elapsed Time 0 mins 00 secs
Zone re-format was skipped.

After doing everything written about CC it is not recognized in BIOS anyway.
What to do with Max Certify Rewrite Retries = not supported?
Whan else can I do?

From what you write the only thing (among the "known ones") you haven't done is clearing the G-list, but I have NO idea if it could be of ANY use or if it will brick the disk for good
If I get it right you are in a BSY status and not in a LBA0 one

And the G-list I've cleared already. :)
Yes, Victoria shows this green BUSY indicator.
