Heya Guys. I'm trying to get Kernel Streaming in foobar2000 with Windows 98. I've already got the WDM for mine AWE64 Standard Edition drivers installed, But foobar can't detect a kernel streaming device. Do anyone know a player with low-cpu usage that supports KernelStreaming? (i want KS mainly due the low-cpu usage :D)

Winamp 2.XX with Kernel Streaming plugin. I use it to this day on XP, so I think it should work fine on 9X.

The DirectSound output plugin uses a bit less cpu than the KS ones. Advantage of KS (or ASIO) lies in their low latency not their low cpu use. :hello:

My Yamaha's VxD drivers provide lower latency than ASIO and no CPU use figures to play sound. Old stuff is sometimes lovely.
