I know that not all the files are required to perform the install function. There used to be a Lite version, but no more.

Per the manual

There is no longer a "lite" version of WPI but if you are really worried about size it can be GREATLY slimmed down by hand you can slim it from 3 1/2 megs down to @ 600 kb.

Does anyone have a list of exactly what files are required for installation from a disc?

Notes:

Cannot use the USSF, Extract, reschange functions or anything else like langs, graphics and such. Remember this is for BASE usage!

OK I removed the following:

Audio (Keep the install.m3u file in the audio folder)
Graphics (Whole folder)
Lang (Keep lang_en and your chosen lang file)
Manual (Whole folder)
Themes (Keep your chosen theme!)
Tools (Keep Sleep.exe)
Change Log.txt
WPI Info.txt

I tested this with a completely new WPI config and on a fresh installation of windows...

YES there is more that COULD be removed BUT I don't want to get to detailed or limiting on the functionality!

Remember all you need to do to restore ANYTHING is to add the files back in!

Thank you for getting back to me. I will be utilizing this knowledge for sure!

Now to figure out how to configure a wireless network, or to at least run the Wireless Connection Manager automatically. lol
