Thanks, X. I put those comments in there hoping someone would read them. However, what I meant to say was extract it programatically. I found the MSI, and in fact, that is the installer I use.

So ... anyone know how to extract the MSI out of the HighMAT CD Wizard from the command line (i.e. not using WinRAR or WinZip) ?

I found "HighMAT CD Writing Wizar" and "InstallShield® Developer 8." in the EXE...

man i don't understand microsoft.
why the hell are they making different type of installer for updates like this.
they should settle on 1 thing. msi installers i think is the best. or type I.
type II, mdac, corrupt 817778 etc. MS settle on 1 type of installer pls!

i knew u wanted it automatically
u can force ppl to extract it on their own then put it into the folder. or i can host the file so anyone wanting to use the msi could dl it instead of the exe from ms..

i'm still searching ways to extract it :)
msiexec.exe /V launches at the start of .exe but when i run it manually it gives an error
