Thanks, I fixed it in the original post too. :)
I often forget :blushing: how the board software parses incorrectly :realmad: links that contain brackets :w00t: .

To compensate :unsure: for the momentary :angel brain fart :} , I will supply something that is NOT smilies, AND NOT a math joke BUT a cartoon :

It would be easier if Xper could add those smileys from reboot to here! :sneaky:

I always found it interesting how closely the Pythagorean equation resembles the equation of a circle centered at the origin. Of course, my Kindergarten teacher would always yell at me when I tried to fit a triangle into a circular hole. :realmad: Shows how little she knew. :whistle:

a2 + b2 = c2

x2 + y2 = r2

I presume you are joking :unsure:, if not, today's word is "trigonometry":

In any case Pi is wrong :w00t: (and this is a video, for a change):

I'm joking, but the equations are related when plotting the circle on the Cartesian plane.

Seriously, they are NOT "related", they are EXACTLY the SAME one.

a=r*cosθ=x
b=r*sinθ=y
c=r

and now, for no apparent reason, fraction cats!

I was actually thinking of using my Reuleaux triangle to make your circular hole a square one (by drilling through it) :rolleyes: :

@jaclaz
@5eraph
Thanks for the great fun !
I absolutely loved the fraction cats concept and image.
Ditto for Eastwood 6 vs. 5.
The Reuleaux triangle was completely new to me (i.e., educational).
I had never heard about dump4free before.
What a treasure trove of images !
May one download an image and modify and use it as one pleases ?
That is, are all these images copyright free (i.e., in the public domain) ?
For, as Picasso said, "Good Artists Borrow, Great Artists Steal".

Deliriously so, jaclaz. :wacko:
That math clock was nice, but that cat looks *much more threatening* than Eastwood.
I hope I don't have nightmares about it !
Thanks for the additional images.
Do you know if the dump4free images are in the public domain ?

I guess you never know, AFAICU that is just a hosting site, people uploads images to it so IF the original uploader is the copyright owner of the image, then it can be considered PD, otherwise it may be a Copyrighted image uploaded by someone else but the rights owner.

I guess everything is up to you, only thing, do not, and when I say DO NOT, I mean DO NOT divide by zero:

Thanks, jaclaz, for taking time to give that detailed explanation about public domain at dump4free.
I guess you're right, "you never know".
I noticed at dump4free that a lot of the images had someone's name associated with them, but you just don't know if they were the copyright owners or not.
So, I guess one should just follow Picasso's dictum and "steal, baby, steal" (to paraphrase a bit -- lol).
Those were cute kitties. (I guess blackturbokitty should like your kitty pics.) I wonder what the kittens think about their owner putting them through all that silly mischief.
That river image was indeed spooky. I could feel myself getting sucked down.
I loved the Op Art dividing by zero. Very mesmerizing. (I love Op Art, in general.) If you like art and don't know about Bridget Riley, she was one of the founders of Op Art in the 60s. You can check out her early paintings on Google images, if interested. Her work is very subtle and highly effective.
It would take 4 monkeys and a baboon to carry THAT gun.
Pee-Wee Herman loves dividing by zero, because that takes him to "infinity" (in an asymptotic sense, of course).
Here is how Pee-Wee reacts when he divides by zero:
