I have a few problems.
1. I installed nVidia drivers (53.03).My nvidia.cmd file looks like this:
ECHO.
ECHO Installing nVIDIA Drivers for XP 53.03
ECHO Please wait...
start /wait %systemdrive%\Drivers\nVidia\Setup.exe -s -f1"%systemdrive%\Drivers\NVidia\setup.iss"

I called it in cmdlines.txt.That file looks like this:
[COMMANDS]
"REGEDIT /S .\regtweaks.reg"
".\hotfixes.cmd"
".\nforce.cmd"
".\directx.cmd"
".\nvidia.cmd"
".\sound.cmd"
"REGEDIT /S .\restoff.reg"
"RunOnceEx.cmd"

To mention, installation went great. No problems, no errors. But when I go to 'Device manager' in 'Display adapter' says 'S3Trio32/64'. I have GeForceFX5600! Also resolution is set good (1152X864) but the colors are 8bit. And it can't be changed. Only when I set resolution to 1024X768. Then I can also set colors to 32bit. But that's not an option.

2.The same problem I have with nForce drivers. Also the installation went great, but in 'Device manager'...
3.The same problem with SB Live! In this case I tried the method with 004 folder, but it doesn't work. Then I copied 'Common', 'CTShared' and 'Win2k_xp' from the 'Audio' folder and 4 dll's and 2 ini's, and CTZAPXX.exe. My sound.cmd file:
ECHO.
ECHO Installing SB Live! drivers
ECHO Please wait...
start /wait %systemdrive%\Drivers\Sound\CTZAPXX.exe /s

I saw thid method on this forum.
4.DirectX9b redist installation goes by great, but in 'Control panel', 'DirectX panel' shows me that DirectX8.1 is installed! I tried every possible switch.
Is it posible that Virtual PC 2004 Trial (which I use to test the installation) is to blame for all my troubles?
Also to mention that I tried other install methods, but the results are indentical. I found every mathod on this forum. Thanks in advance.

Yes, Virtual PC (and VMWare as well) uses hardware emulation to support the multiple OS's. Unfortunately, the only way to test drivers is to do it on real hardware.

Matt
