Going back to posts #18-20, here's my mms.cfg file mms.cfg.7z in case someone needs it. I've been thinking of putting it in an SFX or copying it from the source via a batch file command after Flash install. Both are doable in nLite, too. The file is identical (by location and configuration) in Windows 7 as well.

Cheers

Command line switches exist for FlashPlayerUpdateService.exe that can be used after Flash Player has been installed. Ricktendo deserves credit for bringing them to my attention.

;-setSilentAutoUpdate
;-setNotifyAutoUpdate
;-setDisableAutoUpdate
RunProgram=%WinDir%\System32\Macromed\Flash\FlashPlayerUpdateService.exe -setDisableAutoUpdate
