edit: I saw your post, but there is no quicktime.qtp under the system32 directory. Do you need to uninstall it to keep it there?

if you install quicktime normaly,
without any ini and moddings for installation,
you will get all dialogs and the reg info dialog too.
here you can type in your reg infos.
if this way all is done, start quicktime and adjust all
other settings as you like. then quit and now the
.qtp file should be there....
if you now put this file on a quicktime-clean pc
(where qt never was installed) in the win/sys32 folder
and start the installation (with or without the .ini doesnt matter),
you wont get the dialog for type reg-settings.
but if you start qt after installation and try to reg it,
you will recognize that its already done....
if not --> PM me

I did find a qtp in all users/application data, but what do I do now?
Do I just copy this file? I'd like the options to be default. You know. Any ideas? I'm just so many mixed up.

I only found one of the files.
quicktime.qtp in all users/application data.
However, I am unable to find the other.
Can you please explain how I would do this? Thank you.
