I dont know much about 7 and Virtual pc, I was thinking of using 7 pro or ultimate in 64-bit. Now if i use virtual pc and install xp or 98se can I run those in 32-bit in virtual mode?

Thanks for any help

VirtualPC (KB958559) installs on all WIn7 Editions (except Starter), so you don't need the Ultimate. Here is a guide to install Win98:

To answer your question, yes, Windows XP, 98, etc. will run as 32-bit when using Virtual PC in Win7 x64.

VPC doesn't support 64Bit guests, so it can only run 32Bit guests.
