For about a month now, these same 5 x MS Updates just won't quit:
KB2656407, KB982524, KB2657424, KB2604111, KB2604110.
As soon as they've finished updating/installing, they recommence all over again - and again - and again.
Trying to understand technical replies, is like trying to decipher another language; I'm neither bilingual or technically gifted with this kind of stuff - I just want to know how to make it stop, once and for all, if someone can give it to me in the 'for dummies' version, I'd be very grateful.

No need for a custom font.
This is a common problem with .NET.
Go to your add remove programs and uninstall any .NET Frameworks
Run the cleanup tool located here: http://blogs.msdn.co...28/8904493.aspx
Reinstall the .NET Frameworks that you need.
Visit Windows Update and install any high priority updates.
Hopefully, that will fix it.
