Some Microsoft web pages that I do a Google search for are showing up in German. I found this out when I clicked on a link that was supposed to take me to a FixIt page for disabling the Windows Sidebar and Gadgets. Then I Googled the main Microsoft FixIt page and suddenly it's all in German. Can someone please tell me what's going on here?

You should learn one of the most beautiful languages
To fix it open the IE options, cklick on "languages" and add "en-us" as first ad remove "de-de". if this doesn't help, go to microsoft.com and at the top you have a link to change the language.

I don't use IE. I use Firefox and the preferred Language is English. It was working fine. I've never run into this before, ever, and suddenly my Microsoft pages want to display in German. I haven't found any other pages this way -- only Microsoft pages.
