Hello everyone, I hope to post in the right place So I start a setup.exe file that tells me erroe [35] general protection fault in setup.exe at 0097:4 C58 code 0000 ss 0087 ds 0087 eg 0107
9050 9050 ax bx cx dx 0117 1301 sp 136c is 137th bp 0117 to 0156

Is there any way to solve?

Perhaps you could begin by posting details like:
- on which OS/Service Pack/language (like windows XP SP1 English) you saw this happened ?
- where does this setup come from what application it should install and for which OS ?

the operating system is windows 98 se ,windows xp sp1 and all in Italian
setup.exe is the game witch haven II and the game is compatible with windows 98

Does it by chance REQUIRE "Visual C++ Runtime" (there are several versions of them, BTW)?

WHAT is the Model of the Computer
WHAT is the MOTHERBOARD of the Computer
Do you have an ADD-IN VIDEO Card
Do you have an Add-In Sound Card

computer built piece by piece, there is no brand
no model
motherboard ga-8st667
video card ati hercules 3d prophet 9500 pro 128mb

Are you installing from the CD?

I am aware that this game is in the abandonware category, however it seems that the one available online is the original (DOS) version and many people cannot get it to run in Windows 98. You can try running it in DOSBox on your XP install.

tried it on xp through dosbox but nothing
