i noticed it is an install shield so i tried the -R on it and went through the install and found no setup.iss or anything. and during the install i noticed it kind of liked unpacked then installed. so i uninstalled and did it again.. this time at the time after extraction i went to program files\paint shop pro8\ and found a setup folder with setup.exe so i did the setup.exe -R on it and still found no .iss file..

what am i doing wrong and can this app be silent installed.

i noticed in the main post this
Jasc Paint Shop Pro

Switch: /qn
Full syntax: JPSP8.msi /qn
Extraction needed: ?

where do i get the .msi file?

:)

My PSP8 CD has the msi file on it. Trial software might be packaged differently, I don't know
