missing most metro icons

after OOBE and boot into win8 OS, i found most metro icons was gone, only appears "IE", "store","explorer" and desktop. how to debug this.thanks

Are you in Audit Mode? You can tell by going to the Desktop and you will see the Sysprep box on the screen.

Seen that, broken profile

renew the profile completely or create a new one.

that's the only way so far I have managed to fix this.
