Looked many websites, but did not find a solution to this annoyance: in my Startmenu recent program section only a limited set of programs will show (e.g. MSword, the game hearts etc), while othe programs do not show after i use them (e.g. firefox, open office). I checked both 'Store and display ....' optins in the startmenu properties in the privacy section. Also maximum items are set to 10. Resetting and clearing of the recent items/programs lists didn't work.
Anyone know what the problem is and how i can fix it? Thanks in advance.

Not all recent programs show up in the recent list as you'd expect. The only ones I see are the ones I launch from either the Desktop or the Start Menu iteslf. Other often used programs I open from the Taskbar do not appear in the list, for whatever reason.
