Has anyone had any luck getting Games for Win8 without going to the Micorsoft Windows Store?
Has anyone been successful with this?

Games for Windows 8 are Metro style apps from what I understand. Do you specifically mean those, or games from previous versions of Windows which is described in that link?

I tried this and it sort of worked, not the best solution though http://www.heroturko...-windows-8.html plus you will need to have Windows 7 files and if you don't have those then this will not be any good to you

Be aware most of these "adaptations" are from "Beta" and require a special file PLUS the games have been "patched".

This subject has already been discussed.
