is there any either official or custom by someone modification of .net 3.5/sp1 light version ?

this is the offline installer which is always large, but it installs fewer files.

do I need the huge one 3.5 of 233 MB
or just 3.0 client and 3.5 client (considering net 2 is already installed) ? :P

both small ones should be online installer which download the required files during setup.

time to bump this post,

 

what about DotGNU Project (the portable .net), I see that for windows last compile was at end of year 2011 and project is dead

BUT does anyone know to which microsoft's versions did this project "parallel"/compete , as in to v2 or 3.5 ?

 

I can confirm it "replaces" 3.5/sp1 in some areas

which is wonderful, takes 135 MB on HDD and doesn't throw annoying background running processes

or JIT
