Many many thanks Kels for the Welcome! :)

However, I'm not a professional but passionate.

Thank you for keeping your tremendous development program!

Thanks and regards

After some very deep thought this is the best solution I can come up with:

I haven't stopped development of WPI. Here is the change-log for the next version so far.

v8.6.4 Updates - Released ?????, 2013
====================================================
*** TONS of manual internal fixes and corrections.
*** Minor installer.hta cleanup.
*** SystemEnclosureType fix.
*** Added in wmi detection FirewallProductName, AVProduct.
*** Fixed the extra buttons not showing on USB by default.

This is what I am willing to do for those who have supported WPI:

I will (Upon a request AND agreement that you will not share or distro the supporter releases of WPI publicly) Share the new versions with people who have shown support.

The every couple of versions (Say 4-5 or so) I will release a public version.

Is this agree-able?

I'm glad your decision... :w00t:

Thanks so much for thinking about this. I think this is a nice balance. You should definitely highlight (in posts here) the significant updates us supporters are getting to whet the appetite... :)

Woah. Just read this after I donated some bucks yesterday (transaction code 0F8906070W3310213). That's pretty lame that only a few users decide to support this great product. OK, I have to take a good look at myself, because I also use the software for years now and didn't donate yet. But I once created a theme for it (discontinued and lost :-( ) to show my appreciation.

The release policy is OK for me and I think I will donate some more in the near future. Maybe I will "purchase" a commercial license one day.

I'm glad to have you back on board... Somehow.

Regards
Jan

You know I support you in spirit, Kel. I, like you, am also a po-boy, otherwise...

You have several financial supporters so keep on chuggin', my friend.

P.S. And thanks for that "special" WPI for a now-defunct Win98SE project (you know which one "thread deleted").

I feel the same way. People are so quick to say gimme and don't give anything back. Some people want it all and most won't even say thank you. Even though I don't use WPI, I'm saying thank you. I know what it feels like to be taken for granted as well as appreciated. We are losing at a rapid pace. ;)
