XPlode 1.01

Okay people, seeing as I've been out of commission for a while, I have to release a new version... :)

Here's your chance.... tell me NOW and I'll try and implement any changes you want, within the next day. I'm not going to be checking the other threads, because, as I've said before, the bugtracker is used for that purpose.

This is the only place other than the bugtracker that I'll be checking for changes.

Note: I probably won't be releasing the multiple-disk plugin until AFTER this release. there's still a few things that I need to iron out.

GUIInstall fix (meh....couldn't hurt :))
Conditional Statements (meh.....couldn't hurt )

The complete functionality of the command prompt ( j/k)

Autoresize picture....
Ability to resize the window to certain pixel width and height, and the program (or user via XML, like the show number of items thing) determines the number of items to show. (Might be hard, as each font is different)
Optional GIF
Change GIF
Optional Progress bar....

and one thing that's been buggin me....make the "name" optional...
so like say you're only install one program, say Winzip....
Instead of XPlode sayin Winzp, and then the line underit Install WInzip... or whatever you say, just have the initial line....
optional of course.

How about a feature to have the text on the RIGHT and the bar on the left? :D

Most of this is cometics, but as I can't think of anything but that, and the bulk of the program appears complete, what else is there?

As far as I can tell, the only things that need doing to the XPlode core are cosmetics and bugfixes...

The plugins are where most of the things will be coming from, so...

EDIT:

Doesn't really matter, I can't code today, gotta go into uni and fix up my courses.
Blah.

this is true....

just another reason why most of the stuff I could think of were cosmetics :)

since you official annoucment, do i hreally have to put all this onto the bugtracker?

No... this is the only thing I'm goignt o look at. It would be preferable to have them in bugtracker, but it's not essential.

Positioning the text as a whole horizontaly and verticaly in GUIinstal mode.
(Or at least lower it down somehow to the same level as the text "Collecting Information", as the text in Xplode is too close to the top of the page, the first line of text even touches the orange-gray-color line when using stadard font sizes.)

XML generator.

Posibility to change the meaning of number in () .
Now it is 4th of 15 global items as showed in documentation.
Example:
I have a global item

WMP 9.0

containing local items

WMP 9.0
WMP 9.0 codecs
WMP 9.0 scripting pach

IMHO it could show up as (1/3) then (2/3) and finaly (3/3).

When a global item has only 1 local item, the () would not show up at all.

Yeah, GUI install mode is going to be rewritten soon - have to wait until I get a working test copy before I change it over. Could be a while off.

Not possible.

I've figured out what it'd need, and I don't have the time to fix something like that up while I'm at uni. You'll have to wait a few months.

That's been changed already. If it wasn't in 1.0, it's in 1.01. The dev version has already been changed.

Because to me, it just seems wierd if you only are doing one thing, while another telling that it's doing the same thing. But that's just me.

Can't wait to see what you do....

Not going to change how it is already - it seems redundant, but the way I draw the window it would screw up.

Sorry, but it's not going to happen.

oh well, it's all good. Of all the other things with the program, this one thing can't ruin it. :)

I don't mean to be an as*****, but you seem to want to drive me to it.

Read my reply to Yonderboy's post.

Specifically the XML generator part.
