I have slip streamed the Sony vaoi SATA driver through nlite. The DVD RW is successfully burnt after slipstream, but the problem is when i load it to my laptop it wont boot from the DVD RW. When i tried to open the DVD in vista opened window, the DVD rom starts to format it and the message comes as the DVD is getting ready to format. When i tried opening on another laptop it works fine and starts to install windows xp.Any suggestions to the problem?thanks

Fix the hardware at first laptop.

Try anoter DVD media.
Why do use a DVD at all? Try a CD media.

Try ImgBurn to write the media.

Try another (USB) optical drive.

You can also upgrade your firmware for your CD/DVD burner and try to use DVD-R or DVD+R!
Look at your CD/DVD capabilities on your Laptop!
