ok well its easy.
copy the
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook\Security] "Level1Remove"=".exe;.msi"
into a blank notepad document.
press save and in there type filename.reg and save it.
to install this just double click on the .reg file and it should install
otherwise right click on it and click "merge".
if u want to do this unattendedly type
regedit /S filename.reg

let me look for oe.
edit: while i'm looking for it did u check the security tab under options
look for "do not allow attachments potentially etc.."
ok the registry key for allowing all types of attachment is:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Identities\{137EA229-2E52-47C8-8643-5B206C478EE7}\Software\Microsoft\Outlook Express\5.0\Mail]
"Safe Attachments"=dword:00000000
i'm not sure if that random number mixture is the same with yours.
well u know where to look, what to change now..

Normally its not the same number. Found that out with my OutlookOpt option's program.
Note: There is a second key that could be set that blocks exe attachment's.
1 to block and dword:00000000 to not block
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Outlook Express]
"BlockExeAttachments"=dword:00000001

Under The Security tab IN the Virus Protection Section uncheck the check box that says "Do not allow Attachments to be saved or opened..."
You can then download all the attachments no matter the type
